Pipe Major Dan Armstrong
The New York Scottish Pipes and Drums was founded in 1989 by Pipe Major Dan Armstrong, former Chieftain of the New York Caledonian Club.

The Band is based in New York City and has performed in many and various venues, including:
  • Clan Currie's first ever concert/Kirking service in 1994.
  • The Military Tattoo at West Point.
  • A whisky tasting at the Friars Club.
  • Graduation Ceremonies at Hunter College.
  • The Medieval Festival at Fort Tryon Park.
  • The New York Caledonian Club Kirking of the Tartans
  • A pre-concert program for the Young People's Concert Series at the Rohaytn Room Carnegie Hall.
  • The Band also performs in many parades in the Metropolitan area. Pictures
